Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 April 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at testcentres.ie ("Website") and the iOS application Driving Test Ireland ("App"), provided by Yigit Yilmaz ("we", "us"), a company based in Dublin, Ireland. Together they are referred to as the "Service".
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.
2. Use of the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Scrape, copy, redistribute, or republish the data on the Website (statistics, route information, page content) without our written permission.
- Use the Service in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to other users.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use the Service to interfere with the safe operation of motor vehicles. The App is intended for preparation and review, not real-time driving guidance.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Certain features of the App require an active subscription, including route access, drive analysis, and session breakdowns.
- Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. We do not directly process or store your payment details.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
- Refunds are governed by Apple's App Store policies and must be requested through Apple. Apple's refund process.
4. Data sources and accuracy
The pass rates, waiting times, and other statistics shown on the Website are derived from public datasets published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Ireland (data.cso.ie). The CSO updates these datasets monthly; our rebuilds reflect the latest available data at the time of each rebuild.
Test routes and manoeuvre points shown in the App are observed from real driving tests and updated continuously by our team. They are not officially published by the RSA. Routes can change without notice — we make reasonable efforts to keep the App current but cannot guarantee that every route will reflect the precise route used on the day of any individual test.
The Service is not affiliated with the Road Safety Authority of Ireland, the Central Statistics Office, or any government body. References to RSA standards and procedures are based on publicly available information.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including all content, software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by Yigit Yilmaz or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Public statistical data sourced from CSO Ireland remains in the public domain; our presentation, analysis, design, written content, and software implementation around it are our intellectual property.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result (including passing your driving test) will be achieved through use of the Service.
Information provided in the Service is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional driving instruction or for the official guidance of the Road Safety Authority. For authoritative procedural details about the driving test, fees, and requirements, always refer to rsa.ie.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yigit Yilmaz and its directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability to you in any matter arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or €100, whichever is higher.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not relieve you of any subscription fees already paid.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be highlighted through the Service. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
